MobiNet's Hosted Private Branch Exchange (PBX)

A full-featured solution designed for business looking for easy management, low capital expenditure (CAPEX) and no maintenance. Our hosted PBX services are provided via the largest globally deployed PBX software in the market – Asterisk – which allows us to provide business class solutions in low cost packages. Services are provided from redundant Dell PowerEdge server equipment and protected by redundant power systems with connectivity by our network partner Cogeco Data Services.

Our hosted service includes all local and long distance calling to calling areas in Canada and the continental US and can provide access numbers for services centres in 53 Canadian cities. For businesses needing specialized overseas packages, wholesale International plans are available upon request.

All services are protected by a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for protection and peace of mind.

MobiNet's managed telephony services at the desk level are provided by Cisco 7945G/7965G/7975G handsets. The Cisco 7945G/7965G/7975G are full featured handsets that provides two, 6 or 7 programmable line and feature buttons along with four interactive soft keys to help guide users through various call features and functions. The Cisco 7945G/7965G/7975G Unified IP Phone provides enhanced functionality, high-resolution colour displays, Bluetooth headsets, and inline Power over Ethernet support.

Each handset uses standard Ethernet cabling for access and includes a built-in network switch port for connecting a desktop or laptop computer to existing Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cabling in your office.

All handset equipment is covered by same day replacement service (or a supplied backup device) and can be fully managed and supported remotely by MobiNet.
